  45.       prawym klawiszem myszy na ikonie napΩdu i wybierz "Otw≤rz"

  110. Potrzebujesz 2 dyski, jeden instalacyjny jak wyja╢niono powy┐ej
  111. oraz drugi stworzony z obrazu rescu.img
  112. Wystartuj z dysku instalacyjnego i przy pierwszym znaku zachΩty
  113. napisz "rescue". Poczekaj na zapytanie o dysk "rescue"
  114. i w│≤┐ go do napΩdu.

  117. TEXT INSTALL INSTRUCIONS
  118.  
  119. 1 - insert your installation floppy disk and your Mandrake CD (if
  120. needed) in your drives and restart your machine.
  121.  
  122. 2 - press 'enter' until the 'boot:' prompt appears and carefully
  123. follow the instructions which appear on the screen.
  124.  
  125. 3 - after having chosen the installation language (such as French) and
  126. the keyboard (such as fr-latin1), chose " Disk Druid " in order to
  127. create/chose your Linux partitions. The minimum requirement is to
  128. create at least two distinct partitions:
  129.  
  130. * your main Linux partition, which will need to be loaded on " / "
  131. ("Mount point : / "). This will be the root directory (" root
  132. directory "). The size of this partition will need to be at least 300
  133. Mb. More experienced users may load the /usr and /home directories on
  134. supplementary partitions.
  135.  
  136. * a swap Linux partition. This partition will need to be equal to
  137. approximately twice the size of the available RAM (Random Access
  138. Memory), or more for a server.
  139.  
  140. 4 - after the installation of all the partitions, you may configure
  141. your machine. Carefully follow the instructions and don't forget to
  142. correctly install LILO (Linux Loader) on the MBR (Master Boot Record)
  143. of your hard disk.
  144.  
  145. 5 - when the installation is complete take out the floppy disk and the
  146. CD-ROM and restart your machine.
  147.  
  148. 6 - Linux should start. " Log in " as " root ". If X-Window is
  149. correctly installed, you should be able to start up KDE by typing
  150. "startx " on the command line.
  151.  
  152. Important note : the " root " account will give you unrestricted
  153. access to your Linux system. Do not use it except to configure or
  154. administer Linux.  For every day use, use a normal user account with
  155. the " adduser USER " and " passwd USER " commands.
